Right-click on the desktop and the system will show "Preparing to install". I am preparing to install a small software that I originally had on my computer. However, I have been using this software for more than a year, why?
Cause 1
Some programs use the Windows Installer installation method, and the Windows Installer configuration information of the program is updated or uninstalled due to an error, so when using other programs, A window appears for re-installation of the program with an error.
Solution
Use Windows Installer cleanup utility 1.0 from Microsoft to Process configuration information of the program with errors. Run msicuu.exe after downloading the installation (see the following figure. This list shows the software installed with Windows Installer. Select the information about the program that has an error and click "Remove. [Note: this error program indicates the program to be installed in the pop-up window when you run a software. For example, if you run software a, a window is displayed, this window indicates that software B is being installed, so the software B is removed.] I have to select the small software.
After "Remove", the software returns to normal. However, you must note that the software that you remove the configuration information must be re-installed before it can be used normally. That is to say, you must re-install software B before it can be used.
Cause 2
Most of these problems are caused by the installation and uninstall of anti-virus software. That is, the anti-virus software has a direct anti-virus shortcut on the right-click, but the shortcut on the right-click is not removed when the anti-virus software is uninstalled. Therefore, Windows Installer is displayed every time you right-click it, so that key issues are concentrated on the shortcut menu of the right-click.
In fact, it is very easy to solve this problem. Now there are a lot of software on the market that can easily solve this problem. I use more optimization masters, so let's take it as an example, open master Optimization-System Optimization-system personality settings. There are many right-click Settings at the top, so we choose more settings-files and folders, after opening the file, delete all the files in the "right-click" and try to restore them one by one, if Windows Installer appears again when you right-click the file again, you will delete the one you just restored and all others will be restored.
