February Web server share: Apache leads Microsoft about 10%

IDC Commentary Network (idcps.com) February 27: Recently, Netcraft released the latest data on the global Web server. According to the show, in February, Netcraft received a survey of 883,419,935 sites, compared with last month, an increase of 0.75%. In the battle for global Web server market share, Apache won the championship with a 38.77% share, leading runner-up microsoft10.08%. Below, see Related data analysis.

Figure 1 shows that in February 2015, the Netcraft survey and statistics of 883,419,935 websites, the chain last month, increased by 0.75%, the amplitude is not obvious.

According to the data shown in Figure 3, in February, the world's major Web server share of the top four is Apache, Microsoft, Nginx and Google, January, the ranking without any change. Among them, Apache and Google have fallen phenomenon, the decline is 0.97%, 0.01%, and therefore Apache failed to break through 40%. In addition, Microsoft ranked 2nd in 28.69%, up 1.18% per cent, significantly, but still behind Apache by about 10.08%. After the Nginx ranking, the share also achieved gains.

Look at Figure 5, in February, the active site used by the Web server market share competition, Apache to occupy half of the potential to again dominate, the share of 50.64%, a decrease of 0.08% compared to last month. Nginx and Microsoft 2, 3, the share in turn up to 14.94%, 11%. Of these, Microsoft rose by 0.45%. In addition, Google shares fell below 8% to 7.97%.
