Fedora 20 KDE installation fcitx Input Method

Use root permission

Yum install fcitx

Click the Start Menu, find the software Installer (apper), click Search fcitx, and then select 

Fcitx-cloudpinyin

Fcitx-pinyin

Fcitx-table

Fcitx-table-Chinese

KCM-fcitx

 

Click the application in the lower-right corner, and the installation will be automatically downloaded. The installation process needs to be confirmed and cannot be used after installation.

After installation, add the following lines of code to/etc/profile:

Export xmodifiers = "@ im = fcitx"
Export qt_im_module = fcitx
Export gtk_im_module = fcitx

Click "Source" and restart it. The input method is available.
