I have installed Fedora 13 and can't play movies now. The built-in opening prompt does not contain a decoder. If no decoder is found, I will not install mplayer. Which of the following experts will give you some advice. The installation steps are detailed.
A:
Add Livna source Repository
Rpm-ivh http://rpm.livna.org/livna-release.rpm
Add Fusion source Repository
Rpm-ivh http://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/fedora/rpmfusion-free-release-stable.noarch.rpm
Rpm-ivh http://download1.rpmfusion.org/nonfree/fedora/rpmfusion-nonfree-release-stable.noarch.rpm
# Yum install mplayer-gui
# Yum install xine
# Yum install smplayer
The solution was to change output video device in mplayer-gui to xv, gl,... (depends on your video hardware but in general, xv shocould work ):
View plain
1. mplayer-gui-> Preferences-> Video-> xv
Mplayer-gui-> Preferences-> Video-> xv
Cheers!
