In versions earlier than FFmpeg 2.8.2, The ff_hevc_parse_sps function of libavcodec/hevc_ps.c did not verify the Chroma Format Indicator. Remote attackers can exploit this vulnerability to cause DoS (out-of-bounds array access) by constructing HEVC data ).
