Fibre Channel Interface Configuration instructions for Mirrorview on VNX

Failure phenomenon:

Solution:

The 1 Vnx block system supports up to 1 FC based MIRRORVIEW/S interfaces (one per SP).

This FC port number is specified the first time a front-end FC port is configured, regardless of whether mirrorview/s is turned on or configured.

The mirrorview/s port number in the Vnx product Rimmer is considered to be the smallest.

This port will only be activated if the MIRRORVIEW/S component is installed and enabled.

This port number will never change, even if more than one front-end fibre module is added later.
