After three weeks of waiting, Microsoft finally released the Windows build 16273 update for fast channel users for Windows Insider projects today. In fact, Microsoft should have released a new version two weeks ago, but due to some bugs in the internal testing process, the update was postponed.
After a long wait, Microsoft has not included any new features in the new version released today, focusing on bug fixes and background performance improvements. However, there have been some improvements in the details of the system, mainly including:
Try a new emoji notification on My people:
Help test my people and Emoji notifications by adding a new Windows Insider Emoji Bot on the taskbar and asking for certain Emoji to be sent. We have added the quest link to the feedback hub, so users can improve the user experience.
Bahnschrift font:
The OpenType variable font bahnschrift is included in future releases. This new font industry standard allows us to package the entire font family into a single file with infinite variability. The user can not only set the font weight when inputting, including light, general and bold, and so on, but also can set the font format infinitely, can smooth transition between light, bold and so on.
The better part is that variable fonts can save a lot of space because they can replace several fixed fonts with independent and efficient variable fonts. To learn more about the changeable font technology, you can view wired, Designmodo, or alphabettes articles.
