Unless you are isolated from the rest of the world, you must know that Internet Explorer 6 may be most famous for its many vulnerabilities. In fact, the entire Anti-Spyware industry is profitable by eliminating a large number of products caused by ie6.

From the day Microsoft developed Windows Vista, it has been declared that security is the most important goal for Windows Vista development. The key component of Windows Vista is Internet Explorer 7. Microsoft announced that Internet Explorer 7 is much more secure than IE6. Microsoft has released Internet Explorer 7 for Windows XP and Windows Server 2003. By using these IE7 versions and Windows Vista, we can see how IE7 enhances system security.

Configure IE7 to enhance Vista security

Step 1: General Security Configuration
Step 2: Filter the Phishing scam page (Phishing Filter)
Step 3: prevent international domain name and URL Spoofing
Step 4: Select opt-ins, Information bar, and cross-Origin Protection for ActiveX.
Step 5: Windows Vista and IE7
Step 2: Filter the Phishing scam page (Phishing Filter)

The Phishing Filter feature puts a lot of pressure on filtering Phishing pages. When you use IE7 to access a website, the browser compares the URL of the website with the list of valid website addresses. If the website is found to be illegal, the URL address will be checked in the list of known phishing scams pages. If the URL address matches an existing phishing scam website, the filter will display a warning message indicating that the website is reported as a phishing scam page. We recommend that you close the page.

If the page does not appear in the list of known legal websites, but not in the list of known phishing fraud pages, the filter uses Heuristics) to determine whether the website has the characteristics of a normal phishing scam page. If so, the filter displays a warning indicating that the website may be a phishing scam page. It also allows you to choose whether to report the website to Microsoft, classify it into the list of Microsoft phishing fraud pages.

When you use Internet Explorer 7 for the first time, the system will ask if you want to use the Phishing Filter ). You can also manually enable or disable filters using the Advanced tab on the Internet Options properties page, as shown in B.
