I used to directly enable UPnP ON THE vro, my little donkey turned into a high ID and ran fast. It was so cool and funny that I had been searching for so long.

The full name of UPnP is: Universal Plug and Play. Chinese name: General plug-and-play. The UPnP specification is based on the TCP/IP protocol and the new Internet protocol for communication between devices. Many Intranet users cannot obtain high IDS by configuring port ing on the vro or by using the UPnP component, the reason is simple. The two major features of UPnP are: Automatic port ing and automatic identification of gateway devices. How can we enable UPnP?

UPnP Functions
Below I take the TP-LINK r402m router as an example, take you step by step to configure the UPnP function. (Other routers only need to support the basic operation of UPnP)

First, you need to go to the web control interface of the router to enable the router's UPnP function. For security reasons, the UPnP function of most vrouters is disabled by default. In the browser, enter the router address. Generally, the router address is 192.168.1.1. Different vendors may have different settings. Go to the router Management page, find the UPnP function, and set it to "start ". Then we can go to Windows XP settings. Windows XP is the first operating system with built-in UPnP support. Therefore, UPnP is very convenient and convenient to use on Windows XP. Of course, others such as Linux and Windows 2003 also provide internal support for UPnP.

In Windows XP, the UPnP support module is not installed by default, so we need to follow the steps below to manually install it.
1. Click Start, control panel, and then add or delete programs ".
2. In the "add or delete programs" dialog box, click "Add/delete Windows Components ".
3. in the "Windows component wizard", click "network service", click "details", and select "UPnP User Interface (xp2)" "Universal Plug and Play (xp1) "check box. And "Internet gateway device discovery and control client" check boxes.

4. Click "OK", and then click "Next" in the "Windows component wizard" dialog box ". During the installation process, Windows XP may require the installation disc of Windows XP.
5. Click Start, control panel, management tools, and services"
6. Double-click "SSDP Discovery Service", select "Auto" and click "application" as the Startup type, and click "start" as the service status to confirm.
7. Double-click "Universal Plug and Play Device Host", select "automatic" click "application" as the Startup type, and click "start" as the service status to confirm.
8. Click "start", click "Control Panel", open "firewall", and open "exception" and select "UPnP framework ". If you do not use the firewall that comes with XP, follow these steps to open the service. If you still use another firewall, enable UPnP (TCP) 2869 in the firewall you are using; UPnP (UDP) the two ports 1900 can be used. Generally, the firewall automatically prompts an application to use ports 2869 and 1900. You can add them manually if they are useless.
As long as it is a firewall, you can check whether there are hidden IDs or hidden modes and other options.
If you use Kaspersky Anti-Virus Software and firewall, turn off "use hidden mode". Otherwise, UPnP still cannot identify your router!
Everyone should note that many anti-virus software now has firewall functions, so it is easy to ignore. Remember to set up your firewall and check whether your anti-virus software has a fire protection part, you can turn off the options such as hide ID or hide mode.

After completing the preceding operations, restart your computer.

After restarting, you will be surprised to find that Windows XP prompts you to find the new hardware and prompts you to find the Internet gateway device in the "bubble" prompt on the taskbar, of course, the specific model of this device varies depending on the vro you are using. After all this is done, open "my computer" and check the options of network neighbors. You will be surprised to find that your router is lying in the local network. (The Internet user does not have the above prompt) almost all content about your vro is identified by Windows XP. If we double-click the vro icon, after entering the password, you can access the Web management interface of the vro. When your router appears in the network neighbor, it will be done.

Note: if you do not use a vro, you will not find that the network neighbors of the new device do not have a picture.

Next, we open the scorpion, "option" "extended Settings" drop-down list: "enable UPnP support" and "use random UPnP ports" select "application", "OK", and return to the "server" page, select a server "" "to connect to the selected server". Great !!!!! Highid, has finally become a long-expected high ID. Are you upset?

The same is true for Bt. If you select the option "enable UPnP support" in the btsoftware you use, you can download a movie and check your user list, is there a lot more "remote"? What does this mean? Dizzy, you don't know. It's because the port is automatically mapped, huh, huh !!

Note: xp1 users have enabled this service please go to the Microsoft Website: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...BA-E6CF686A352B to download UPnP security patches. Xp2 is no longer needed. The reason is very simple, because you are xp2, haha
