[Finally succeeded] how to install Windows 7 with a USB flash drive

I changed the data center and installed a new machine. So happy ~ However, the tragedy is that schools save money to buy business machines, there is no system, no optical drive... This arduous task must be completed by myself. For me, I have never used a CD as a system. So hard... Fortunately, senior high school students won't spend a few hours downloading the image after giving the win7 image ~

I know two methods: one is to directly burn ISO to a USB flash disk, the other is to use winpe boot, and then use the method of fixing windows to install windows to a C drive. In comparison, the first method is much simpler than the second method in terms of operation and time. However, sometimes the first method is not easy to use. The second method can be considered. Because the first method is common, BS is not introduced here ~ This article focuses on the second method.

 

I. Install it directly with a USB flash drive

Software requirements: Apsara stack, win7 Images

Other requirements: Set the BIOS to boot from a USB flash drive (I don't need to say that)

If you are using an account that is not an administrator, you cannot use the burning function of Apsara stack. If you are a Windows 7 user, you need to activate the Administrator account in Computer Management, or change to a virtual optical drive software. This article takes Apsara stack as an example. Other software is similar.

First, open Apsara stack, select File-open, and select the image to be burned. Then, on the boot tab, find the write hard disk image item. Select your USB flash drive in the disk drive column. Write method select USB-HDD + (is actually the default ). Format the USB flash drive first (to be formatted quickly, otherwise it will be slow) and then write the data. And then restart. Because it has been set to boot from the USB flash drive, it will automatically jump to the win7 installation interface, and then install it step by step according to the instructions.

When the first method fails or the USB flash disk is broken, you can consider the second method.

First, use the method described above to burn the winpe ISO to the USB flash disk. Winpe seems to have many versions. I use the original version of old Mao Tao. Some versions on the Internet may not be supported by the main board. It would be nice to try a few more versions ~ After the installation, do not forget to put an image on it (if not on the hard disk of the sub-host to be installed), and then throw a soft dish (if winpe is not included ).

Do not unplug the USB flash disk and restart it. In this way, you can enter the winpe interface. After entering winpe, open the image with a soft disc, select all the files contained in the image on the right, and extract the files to a non-system partition (such as D :\). Remember, the extracted path must be remembered. Otherwise, I will restart my computer to find my own image and decompress it...

Format disk C first, and the file system needs NTFS. Find the boot folder and bootmgr file in the extracted files and copy them to the C root directory. Find boot from the D: \ Sources folder. wim and install. wim (in fact, directly search *. wim), create the Sources folder in the root directory of the C drive, and put the two in. If you need to unplug the USB flash drive, the USB flash drive will be used as the default system path in the installation file. I have never tried it. Just do it ~ Because winpe runs in memory, unplugging the USB flash disk does not affect its operation.

Find the boot directory in cmd. If you are a cmd idiot like me, enter "C:" and "CD/Boot" in the path. Input ”bootsect.exe/nt60 C: "A lot of letters appear. You can find successfully and other words in it, so that you can succeed.

Restart your computer. The installation page is displayed. Do not click Install. Click repair windows in the lower left corner. Go to the system recovery option, and let it find something first. It says that if it cannot be found, click Cancel and select the last command prompt to enter the DOS window.

Enter D: \ sourcesin dos, enter setup.exe, and press enter to install it. After completing the steps as required, you can see your win7!
