Find the IIS that is simplified to xp2.
Some time ago, as the system became slower and slower, and the fault was also accompanied by an automatic blue screen restart, it was suspected that the system was re-installed due to the use of some cracking theme. Instead of using a rigid default topic, I downloaded a lite version of the XP system. When I want to set up IIS after installing common software and tools, however, IIS is also streamlined.
Yesterday, I went online to Google and finally found the correct solution: the original article is from: callect's simplified version XP installation iis5.1. I would like to express my deep gratitude for saving me the time to reinstall the system.
Steps:
1. Enter C:/Windows/INF/sysoc in "run. INF open sysoc. INF file, find "[components]" and append it to it: "IIS = iis2.dll, ocentry, iis2.inf, 7", save and close;
2. Download an iis5.1 independent installation package. If you do not have the installation package, click here to download it.
3. decompress the downloaded installation package to the directory (the red D:/iss5.1 is random, and you can replace it with your own when executing the command, run the following two commands in "run:
Expand D:/iis51/IIS. DL _ c:/Windows/system32/Setup/iis2.dll
Expand D:/iis51/IIS. In _ c:/Windows/INF/iis2.inf
Now, open Control Panel> Add/delete Windows components, and you will find that the installation options of Internet Information Service (IIS) have already appeared in the installation list. Next, the installation of IIS is the same as that of IIS.
For details, go to callect and see how to install IIS in XP Home.
PS: the independent installation package of iis5.1 may be invalid. However, it should be available everywhere on the Internet.
