The design Dreamweaver MX 2004 's powerful function as well as the more perfect humanized setting has been deeply loved by everybody. Here I will talk about the new version of the software form design.
The importance of the table in the Web page is self-evident: the frame and structure of the Web page should be completed and implemented through a reasonable table layout.
In Dreamweaver MX2004 (hereinafter referred to as DW MX 2004), the interface to insert a table and previous dialog boxes have changed significantly (Figure 1).
The table size doesn't change much, but the new additions are handy: for example, new table headers, layout features, and additional information display features.
In the header, if you select the first item none is different from the general table, select the second left? Figure 2 is the table created after you select left.

See the difference, the original <td> label became a <th scope=″row″>, and the summary of the table write a "New Table feature Demo" also appears in the table's properties, the text entered in this table will be shown in the default centered bold (Figure 3).
This eliminates the need to manually perform a "bold → center" step every time a table that requires a title to be shown in bold form, which improves efficiency. Similarly, we can define the other formats and styles of the table without resorting to the method of writing complex CSS stylesheet code.
The new table-assisted width display is also very user-friendly. The previous Dreamweaver version of the table's width does not have an intuitive expression, in mapping and layout can not be well grasped. And now when you move the mouse over the table, you first notice a red box (Figure 4).
This indicates that you have selected a table, but this selection is only DW MX 2004 to bind your mouse with the table, rather than "selected", click the left mouse button before selecting the table. The old version often because too many tables can not be accurately selected, now has a red box to help more convenient!
When the table is selected, the secondary width display automatically appears below the table, showing the width of the current table and displaying the values in percentages and pixels (Figure 5).
Click on the green inverted small triangle, in the Drop-down list box appears, you can select the entire table, clear all the definition row height, clear all definition ruled and set all width consistent, hide auxiliary width display and so on function, these are frequently used important function, in the past need to manually adjust, now is integrated in a menu.
Now you can easily drag and drop a table in DW MX 2004. And if you make a table, it will display the width of the column, so that a picture with the same width as the table can be directly from here to take the size of the picture, do not worry about the size of the picture!
Finally, the table inserts the rows and columns of the function, in the old version we inserted a row can only be inserted above the current cursor line, the column is inserted to the left of the cursor column. DW MX 2004 is now flexible enough to insert rows below or to the right of the cursor column, and only the relevant menu action is required (Figure 6).
