(2) multi-task gesture operations
IOS 5.1 provides multitasking gestures, which are very popular and cool on the iPad screen. There are three most practical and commonly used four-finger/five-finger gestures.
5-finger kneading back to the home screen
The most common function of the Home key is to return to the desktop. A new gesture is added to ios5 to implement this function. By capturing the screen with five fingers on the screen, you can directly return to the desktop from the application. Because the action is similar to capturing steamed stuffed bun, it is also nicknamed "steamed stuffed bun ".
4. display the taskbar in push-up mode
Since IOS supports multitasking, the Home key has been assigned another important mission: to bring up the taskbar. This operation is more severe for the home key because you need to double-click it.
When you want to call up the taskbar, slide up the screen with four fingers and the taskbar will be summoned.
4. Push and Switch Applications
If you only want to switch between multiple applications, you can quickly switch between the applications that are currently running by moving around with four fingers.
It should be noted that some software may conflict with Multiple Task gestures (such as the dual combat mode of Fruit Ninja ).
By default, multi-task gestures are not enabled. In settings ---> General ----> multi-task gestures, enable or disable the settings.
(3) assisted gesture operations
Secondary gestures, which are placed in "Physical Activity" in Settings> General> secondary functions. After this feature is enabled, a small dot will appear on the screen. Clicking it will show a menu with four options: the home screen, device, gesture, and personal favorites.
L "home screen"
Its function is the same as the actual home key. It replaces the Home Key and frees it from heavy tasks.
L "device"
Click the device button. You can see that it can replace several actual button operations, including rotation, shaking, volume adjustment, and lock screen. This reduces the number of operations on other buttons.
L "gesture"
When you enable the "multi-task processing" function, we often use more than two fingers to operate. If you are not convenient to operate with your fingers, what should I do if I want to use one finger instead of multiple fingers? Select the "gesture" function, and four palm icons will appear. Four different numbers indicate the number of fingers you need at the same time.
For example, if you want to use one finger to replace the four fingers, then tap the four fingers icon and there will be four blue circles on the screen, the four circles represent your four fingers, and then you can use one finger to make four finger gestures.
L "personal favorites"
"Personal favorites" is used to save your new gestures.
Go to Settings> General> auxiliary functions> "Physical Activity"> "receivivetouch"> "create new gesture" in custom gestures 」, click it and record the gesture here. After the gesture is completed, save it in the upper-right corner and name it.
When using the gesture you created, on the "personal favorites" Page, select the gesture you recorded before, and several blue circles will appear on the screen, representing the position of the finger. These small circles are hollow, meaning that the "finger" is in a suspended state and does not touch the screen.
When you tap the screen with one finger, several small blue circles will become double concentric circles and follow the recorded trajectory. Each small circle is equivalent to one of your fingers. In this way, you can use one finger to perform multiple-point touch operations.
The official description of the secondary gesture feature is: "allows you to use iPad when it is not convenient to touch the screen or you need adaptive accessories". Therefore, it is generally not required, especially "gestures" and "personal favorites ".
To delete a custom gesture, click "edit" in the upper-right corner of the custom gesture page, or click "Slide left" in the Custom gesture area and delete it.
