Firefox 52: supports TLS 1.3
GuideMozilla announced that it plans to support TLS 1.3 in Firefox 52, which will be released next year. TLS 1.3 is the latest version of the TLS security protocol currently under development. Earlier, Mozilla added support for TLS June in the development version of Firefox 49 released in 1.3,

Of course, because the protocol is still in the development stage, it is basically not supported by its website, so this feature is not enabled by default (must be enabled through about: config ).

In an announcement, Martin Thomson, Mozilla's chief engineer and IAB Member, said Firefox 52 would be the first stable Firefox browser to enable TLS 1.3 Support for all users.

TLS 1.3 is welcomed by mainstream browsers such as Mozilla, Chrome, and Edge. The TLS protocol is the foundation of HTTPS websites. It is responsible for establishing secure communication between users' browsers and Web servers. TLS 1.3 is still the draft of IETF.

"TLS 1.3 removes obsolete and insecure encryption elements, which use modern analysis technologies to make them safer and more confidential. It will protect more data, it will also be faster than TLS 1.2, "Thomson explains." TLS 1.3 provides a 0-RTT mode that eliminates the handshake round-trip latency."

He also said Mozilla plans to use the 1.3 draft of the TLS 16th specification, but will update and use the latest draft at any time until the final version is deployed.

In addition, in March, CloudFlare announced that it had added support for TLS 1.3 to their servers. Other mainstream browser vendors, such as Microsoft and Google, also announced their support for TLS 1.3 in Edge and Chrome Canary.
