Firefox does not normally display the year solution _javascript tips

We are using Firefox on some sites to see this display:
Now time is: 108 year January 26

And the IE browser's words will show the normal:
Now the time is: January 26, 2008

The reason is javascrīpt compatibility problem

var today = new Date (), var year = Today.getyear ();

Inside Firefox getyear returns the value of "Current year-1900", and Microsoft makes a change:
When today's year is greater than or equal to 2000, add 1900 to the returned 200X (instead of 10X)
Such as: Today is 1999 return 99
Today's year is 2000 return 2000

A simple solution is to add a judgment:

Year = (year<1900? ( 1900+year): Year);

There are other ways to do this:
by getFullYear getUTCFullYear to call
