Fireworks depicts the beauty of the classical scrolls of Tanabata Cowherd

The Lunar New Year of July Seven is known as Chinese Valentine's Day, the origin of the Tanabata originated from the ancient fairy tales "Cowherd and Weaver", the annual lunar July Seven, in order to bless the celestial Goddess of heaven and the Days of reunion, many businesses and the public have launched a series of activities to celebrate. This year, Tanabata is coming, we use fireworks tools to draw a cowboy Weaver's beauty map, for them to build a bridge as a blessing (Figure 1).

First, the background design

1. First create a new 500*300 pixel FW file, the background is black. Select the Oval tool in the toolbox to draw an elliptical shape, and then draw a rectangle with the rectangle tool, as shown in Figure 2. Note that the width of the rectangle and the width of the ellipse should be the same, with the oval layer above.

2. Copy an ellipse, put it under the rectangle, the effect is shown in Figure 3.

3. Select the ellipse and rectangle below, use the keyboard shortcut "Ctrl+shift+alt+z", the two graphics merged into a diagram, and then use the Magic Wand tool to fill the color of the graphic deleted, the effect is as shown in Figure 4.

4. At this time use the paint bucket tool, in the property panel to set the way to fill the gradient, set the gradient color as shown in Figure 5, fill the color of the rectangle, to get a solid cylindrical figure.

5. Next select the top ellipse and cylinder, use the shortcut keys "ctrl+shift+alt+z" to merge them into a single graphic, then use the Transform tool to adjust the size of the combined cylinder, copy a graphic and put it on the other side of the edit area, and use the "Modify" menu under "warp" Flip horizontally to change the direction of the other side of the graphic so that the darker side of the fill color is inward (Figure 6). This obtains the scroll graphics on both sides of the classical scroll painting.

6. Below the two cylindrical layers, draw a rectangular fill color similar to the cylindrical color, adding a canvas to the middle of the scroll, as shown in Figure 7.

7. Create a new layer below, and then draw a rectangle placed in the middle of the two cylindrical fill position, this rectangle will be the entire tanabata beauty of the main scene (Figure 8).

8. The following in addition to the middle fill of the small rectangle is not selected, the other several graphics are selected, using the "Filter" menu, "Alien Skin splat LE" in the "Edges" filter. Select edges mode in the Open Filter dialog box to "Rough" (Figure 9), so that the edge of the graphic will appear silky fold-like, with a classical charm.

Second, the screen design

1. Design with the occasional pictures of Tanabata, of course, there are two characters of cowherd and Weaver, we can search from the network to the existing classical flavor of the cowboy Weaver picture (Figure 11), borrow the characters in the picture.

2. Use the Lock tool, and then use the "feather" cutting effect in the property panel, the Cowherd and Weaver characters are cropped from the original artwork, put on the background picture of our own design, two characters are placed on both sides of the picture respectively (Figure 12). This time the background of the small rectangular pattern of color correction for the cut cowboy Weaver picture background, so that the picture seems to coordinate some.

3. In order to show the cowboy Cowherd meet in the sky, we draw a moon in the picture, use the Ellipse tool to draw a positive circle, then use the white Arrow tool to adjust the circular node, make it become the meniscus shape (Figure 13). In the property panel effect, add a "glow" effect to the meniscus shape, and the glow color is white, adjusting the parameters to make the crescent moon feel hazy.

4. Use the Pen tool in the picture cowboy and Weaver foot position between the uniform arc line, and then set the line in the property panel of the thickness of "3" pixel yellow, line filling way for "confetti" (Figure 14), for them to build a "bridge." If the Feeling "bridge" is not obvious, you can copy several lines together, the effect is more obvious.
