Fireworks MX 2004 executive face version operation

FWMX, the first thing to do when you get the 2004 version is to reorganize the executive side of the right side. The default setting for Fireworks MX 2004 itself (800x600 resolution), only the assets,colors,frames and history three-faceted groups (the surface combinations of the right side of the other resolutions will be different), The remaining face versions are still hidden under the Windows pop-up menu. This setting is very different from the personal custom work interface that we used to know in MX, so before we start our new job, we have to organize the face version that we have been accustomed to, it's like changing a new desk to do the layout first, so it's handy to work.
Like FWMX, the group can start with the pop-up menu in the upper-right corner of any open face, and select the existing face plate to group with other faces in the menu. Select a group of panel groups, in the face of the group has a different version of the connection (MX is the label display), click on the screen to enter the interface, and display the surface version of the label. Click on the icon on the upper right corner of the face, and there is a combination of options.

The grouped face group displays the name of the included surface version by default in its header column:

Of course we can also name ourselves, the same way is to open the upper right corner of the pop-up menu to find.

Under this pop-up menu, there is also the option to turn off the print group.

If your combined face version is not a surface version that is already displayed in the execution area, fireworks will pop up a floating face version window in the workspace to show you the results of your operation, as you would open a new face version that does not already exist in the existing face group in the executive surface area.

And in the process of reorganization it is natural that you will make some new adjustments to the future work environment to better plan,
At this point your workspace will gradually appear more and more floating surface group. It's a nasty thing to do, and it's hard to rearrange the face plate group to the right, and the window is always floating, and it's not integrated into the executive surface area.

There is a way to solve this, in the upper left corner of each surface group, there are two rows of small dots of the icon, the mouse to move above, will become a cross 22 inverted arrow shape, left-click the icon to move, you can put the current floating surface version into the right-hand side of the executive surface version of the area. The same method can also be the face version of the group from the implementation of the surface of the area dragged out, again become a floating surface version, which is also applicable in FWMX.

The head of a face group looks like a connection to a Web page, and an underscore appears when the mouse moves up. Click on the top of the group to expand or fold it. The same is true for small arrows that look up the same way, in addition to the current state of the display group.

Here, the task of reorganizing the right-hand side of the executive surface has been largely completed. Remember to select Save Panel Layout from panel Layout sets under the Commands command menu. Take a name, and store the area of the finished version of the adjustment.

Like FWMX, the right-hand side of the executive surface area has a separator bar that lets you change the width of the executive surface area by dragging, FWMX 2004 adds a new feature here, and the small arrow in the middle of the divider can also be clicked to hide and display the executive surface area. However, this feature currently supports only the Windows platform.
