Fireworks MX 2004 handling Digital Photo Tips

Skills

Fireworks are slightly weaker than Photoshop in the function of photo processing, but they can do a lot of basic digital photo processing work. In addition, the Red Eye removal feature is added to fireworks MX 2004 and is easy to use.

As shown in Figure 1 below, fireworks MX 2004 has added the Red Eye Removal tool in the toolbox, reference Example:remove the red eye of digital photos with fireworks.

As with Photoshop, select the Image Size pop-up dialog box in the canvas under the Modify menu, where we can modify the size of the picture in pixel size (Figure 2), and you can also modify the image size by "constraint proportions." The difference from Photoshop is that the size of the picture is not shown here.

　　2. Image adjustment

You can find the Adjust colors option under the Filters menu, where the effect is much simpler than Photoshop (Figure 3).

Adjust the lighting effect of a photo you can use levels and curves to adjust the color effect to use hue/saturation.

　　Second, a simple example of digital photo processing

Fireworks does not have much function for photo processing, but it can be used to create a variety of effects, and here are a few simple examples.

　　1. Fashion character Pictures

(1) Figure 4 is the original effect after fireworks processing can get stylish and full of the picture effect.

(2) Add a new layer to the layer to copy a picture (Figure 5).

(3) using the "Gaussian blur" in "Blur" under the "Filter" menu, the blur radius is set to 8 (Figure 6).

(4) On the copied layer, the pattern is modified to "color", and the effect of the photo is changed (Figure 7).

(5) Choose hue/Saturation on the Filter menu to change the color of the photo to get other cool effects (Figure 8).

　　2. Photo Edge processing

In the previous instance's processing effect, we treated the edge effect of the photo to make it feel less medium distance.

(1) Hold down the keyboard Ctrl + A to select the two-story picture, and then press the keyboard ctrl+shift+alt+z to merge the picture into a bitmap (Figure 9).

The creative feature under the Command menu also provides special effects patterns, such as image fading, image border, and converting to the color of the Jin (Figure 15).
