Fireworks MX makes a weathered Olympic five-ring flag

At the opening of each Olympic Games, an Olympic banner is hung high in the middle of the stadium, with a five-ring pattern in between. The Olympic flag Five rings are connected together to symbolize the unity of the five continents, symbolizing the athletes from all over the world to meet in a fair, fair and friendly spirit at the Olympic Games to promote the development of the Olympic movement. Today, I made use of fireworks MX to produce this witness history, the human civilization has a profound impact, weather-beaten, rust and nested in the five Olympic rings. At the same time, we hope that the Olympic Games in China in 2008 will be able to polish the Olympic rings once again!

1. Open Fireworks MX, set the file width and height of 500 pixels and 600 pixels respectively, set the canvas color to custom: red background.

2. Hold down the Rectangle tool in the Toolbox and select the Oval tool in the tool that pops up. Then hold down the SHIFT key on the keyboard and create a positive circle on the canvas, as shown in Figure 1. Next expand the positive Circle property bar and set its texture to "metal." Then click the Drop-down list next to solid, select oval in the pop-up fill category, open the Oval Fill option, set its preset to black, white, and then set its left and right padding color blocks to white and gray respectively.

3. Adjust the oval gradient center to the edge of the positive circle, as shown in Figure 2. After setting, right-click the circle, select edit → copy from the shortcut menu that appears, and copy the Positive circle. Select the positive circle that you copied, and then click modify → transform → numerical transform in the menu bar to select Resize in the Drop-down list in the Numerical Transform dialog box, and then reduce the number of positive circles that you copied to a certain degree.


4. Next click the "window → layer" command in the menu bar, open the Layer dialog box, select all two circles, and then click the "modify → combo path → punch" command in the menu bar to eventually form a hollow circular effect, as shown in Figure 3.


5. Here we will do a special effect on this hollow circle. Select the Hollow Circle, expand its property bar, click the + sign next to Effects, select bevel and Emboss → Inner bevel In the pop-up menu, and then adjust the parameters for the inner bevel, as shown in Figure 4. A hollow circular shape with a rust-stained effect is well made.


6. The hollow positive circle and then copied four, according to the Olympic rings in the position of the good, then click the window → align command in the menu bar to open the Alignment dialog box, select the top three hollow circles, select Align in alignment, and then select vertical middle distribution in the assignment, and the Similarly, set the following two hollow circles, as shown in Figure 5. Then open the Layer dialog box and adjust the position of the five hollow circles to the superposition state.
　 　

7. Let's set up a five-ring nesting effect. Select these five hollow circles at once in the Layer dialog box, and click the Modify → flatten selected command in the menu bar to convert them from a synthetic path to a bitmap. Here we will set the five-ring nesting effect, in order to operate the aspect, we'll zoom in on the canvas and then select the First Hollow circle, click the Lasso tool in the toolbox and operate along the rim at the junction with the Hollow circular circle below, as shown in Figure 6, which requires your patience and detail. Next remove the selected area by pressing the "delete" key on the keyboard and press the "Ctrl+d" key combination to deselect the area, which shows the nesting effect. Then according to the above operation method, in turn, set up other hollow circular nesting effect, and finally our weather-beaten Olympic five-ring effect on the production finished.
