Tutorial
Effect:
Purpose of Creation : it was entirely out of admiration for Laozi (not my father) who created this desktop.
Creative Thinking : slowly grinding out.
Requirements Resources : FIREWORKS8, plug Filter EyeCandy4.0, Alien Skin splat.
"Classic script" and "Wolf's Rain" fonts (can be used in other similar fonts).
Simulation Effect :
- Use the "Gaussian blur" filter and the Eyecandy "Shake Transform" filter to simulate the brush character effect.
- Uses the alien Skin Splat "Chrome" filter to simulate chaos effects.
- Simulate the edge effect of the paper using the inside Glow filter and the Shake transform filter of the Eyecandy.
- Use the change area tool to make a calligraphy style.
After reading this tutorial, you will learn how to simulate these four effects. (The original method, if similar, is unfortunate.) )
Making the word "Tao" in Tao
1.1
Before opening the Firworks, open the "Wolf's Rain" English font.
If you have a font substitution software or you have copied the fonts you want to the Control Panel-Fonts folder, you don't need to open the font directly to call it in fireworks.
If you do not have the font can be replaced with other English handwriting.
1.2
Create a new canvas with a "1024x768" white background.
With a size of 400, the color #000000 (black) of the "Wolf's Rain" font to lay the following letters and punctuation.
1.3
- Select the font you just typed, press "Ctrl+shift+p" to convert to the path (or right-convert to path), and then press "Ctrl+shift+g" to ungroup.
- Select the path letter "T" and press "Ctrl+shift+j" to split the path.
The path "Q" is also split-path operation. Delete the two circular paths of "Q".
1.4
- Put the path to the word "DAO" in the figure (1) below.
- Draw some patterns on the path "O" with a pen to make it look like a Taiji
- Using the "Change area shape" tool of the vector tool, adjust the appropriate parameters to the path that you just painted with the pen so that they look the same as the style of the font
Simulate ink effects
2.1
OK, a Chiga-like "Tao" is complete, select all the paths, press F8 to convert to "graphic symbols", named "Tao". ("Tao" English is "Tao")
The following is the focus of this tutorial, and you will learn how to simulate the effects of ink.
2.2
From the library, drag the "Tao" component onto the canvas, and Clone (Ctrl+shift+d) An instance, with transparency changed to 50%. Then, apply the EyeCandy4.0 "Shake Transform" filter to the instance.
Select "Set"-"typical turbulence", preview the effect, you can press "any kind" to randomly display the effect, after satisfaction, press "OK".
2.3
Clone one of the "Tao" instances that you just treated with the filter and add a "Gaussian blur" filter to it, as shown in the following parameters
Make paper
3.1
Draw a rectangle, position and parameters as shown in the following figure. The word and rectangle are in the lower-right corner of the canvas.
3.2
Add two filters to the rectangle, first "inside Shadow" and the following parameters. Then there is the eyecandy "shaking deformation". The effect of this paper is created.
3.3
Use the "Classic script fan" font (if there is no such font, please use other alternative), select the appropriate parameters (size and arrangement method), on the paper filled with words as decoration.
I played one of the "Getaway" (classic), then adjust the transparency of the font, and then add a light-emitting filter. (Detailed parameters depending on personal preferences)
The production of this paper has been completed.
The production of Taiji
4.1
- First use the Ellipse tool to press shift to draw three positive circles, no strokes, fill color #333333
One of the sizes is "200x200px" and the other two small "100x100px". Use the alignment panel to put three circles on the Zirutu pattern
- Cut the circle with the "knife" tool at the red mark.
Note First select the circle you want to cut with the Select tool, and then use the knife tool to cut.
- Use the Subselection tool to select the unwanted points near the cut position and press DELETE to remove them.
4.2
4. Select the dots adjacent to each circle with the "subselection" tool (shown in the figure), press "Ctrl+j"
Connect the dots.
5. After the connection, it looks like Figure 5.
6. Apply the filter "Alien Skin splat"-Chrome to the object, with the following parameters.
4.3
Finally, add an ink effect to it, just as you would add ink effects for the word "Tao" (sections 2.2 and 2.3).
First convert to a graphic instance,
- After cloning one, the transparency is changed to 50%, and the instance of the clone is applied with the filter eyecandy4.0-"Shake deformation", and the "setting"-"typical turbulence" is applied.
- Clone this processed instance, apply filter "Gaussian blur", the parameter depends on the effect.
4.4
- Combine (select three and then Ctrl+g) These three instances, clone this combination. The combination of clones (flattened to reduce the amount of computation), "Mixed Mode" with "reverse", and then use the "transform tool" to rotate. The following figure is placed.
- Add Filter-Glow to the gray shape, as shown in the diagram.
- Finally, the whole Taiji pattern is combined and converted to "graphic components" by F8. Named "Chaos"
4.5
Flatten the "Chaos" instance and change the transparency to 20%. Pull it up with the warp tool and place it under the "Tao" combination. Finally, as shown in the picture. Of course, finally with my logo, completed.
End
Technique Summary:
- Ink effects: Cloning an object, 50% transparency, "shake the Deformation" filter (typical turbulence), and then clone the object, "Gaussian blur" filter
- Chaos Effect: Edges of objects with a "chrome" filter, "RIP"
- Paper effect: "Inside Shadow" + "shaking deformation" (fine turbulence)
- Brush Word Effect: Change area shape tool. (May be better with a pressure sensitive pen)
