How to install flash Builder 4.0 for eclipse 3.5

Download flashbuilder_4_plugin_ls10.exe to be installed (Flex builder plug-in version. This plug-in version can only be installed in the Chinese version. I tried it several times and chose the English language. It is fruitless. It is estimated that it is related to the operating system language ).

 

Flash Builder 4 Green Installation Method

 

The following is the installation process (the premise is that the system already has JRE and the Java environment variable has been configured with OK, Which is skipped here)

 

1. First download and install eclipse 3.5 or above or myeclipse8.5 (both have been successfully integrated)

Decompress the package to C:/program files/eclipse 3.5 or myeclipse8.5 and install it to C:/program files/myeclipse 8.5.

 

2. download and install the flash Builder 4 plug-in version flashbuilder_4_plugin_ls10.exe

(Check the installation directory settings in two steps)

1. specify the installation path of Flash Builder 4 to C:/program files/Eclipse/flash Builder 4, and proceed to the next step. (it can also be set to another directory, but not the eclipse Directory: C:/program files/eclipse 3.5)

2. This step is very important. The selection is correct and basically the integration is successful. (The prerequisites are correct)

Specify the eclipse installation path to D:/program files/eclipse 3.5. (myeclipse is C:/program files/genuitec/myeclipse 8.5)

3. Select whether to install the flash plyer 10 plug-in the browser

(Optional, but must be consistent with the flash plyer debug version. For example, an error occurs when the flash plyer version is 10 or 10.1. Pay attention to the problem when prompted by flash plyer ~! Whether or not the debugging tool can be correctly started. If an error is reported, delete the two versions in the delete program of windows and download the consistent re-installation)

After installation, run eclipse3.5 or myeclipse to open the flex view.

 

The above has been successfully integrated with Flash builder eclipse for normal development, if there is no special need, the following is not required for greening.

 

Appendix: III. Green flex Builder

1. Set plugins, features, site. xml under D:/program files/Eclipse/flex Builder/COM. Adobe. flexbuilder. Update. Site/

Copy to D:/program files/Eclipse/(If your eclipse directory already has a site. xml file, you only need to merge the feature section content of the two files .)

 

2. Change the plugins and features under D:/program files/Eclipse/flex Builder/Eclipse/(if any, this is an update of eclipse)

Copy to D:/program files/Eclipse/

 

3. Copy D:/program files/Eclipse/flex Builder/sdks to D:/program files/Eclipse/

 

OK. The flex builder installation is complete. The next step is to start Elipse.

4. Configure flex.

In eclipse, click-> window-> preferences-> flex-> installed flex sdks

Modify the path of flex sdks 2.0 and flex sdks 3.0 to apply the settings.

5. Now your flex has started to work. But what should I do with the previously installed flex builder? haha.

Run this D:/program files/Eclipse/flex Builder/uninstall Adobe Flex builder 3 plug-in/uninstall Adobe Flex builder 3 Plug-in.exe on it.
