Flash making cartoon birds flying

Drawing birds whether in the landscape animation, or in the MTV, Birds in the sky free to soar in the picture is always indispensable, this example will tell you the flight type Animal movement law, and teach everyone to draw cartoon birds, example effect as shown in Figure 7-1.

Theory: On the law of Bird Movement

Before making this example, learn about the concept of bird flight.

Bird animals use wings to fly, so the movement of the law is relatively simple. Its flight has two related concepts, that is, wings and traces. The flapping movements of flying animals vary according to the size of their wings. The flight trajectories of different flying animals vary greatly.

When a bird is flying, the wings repeat up and down incitement of the action, and the downward agitation of short time, strength, in order to obtain upward lifting force, and the wing upward fan is to restore the wings to the original position, the whole process of time long, weak strength, the state of the wings are not the same. Therefore, the birds up to incite wings is the main movement of the flight, while the downward incitement of wings is subordinate action.

The flapping of large birds and the flapping of small birds are completely different. Large birds, with their large wings, long wingspan and slow agitation, are able to animate more of their flapping-wing movements, showing the rhythm and rhythm of the flight in full, as shown in Figure 7-2.

Operation Steps:

1. Draw the background

(1) After the launch of Flash, create a new document, its parameters are the default. The first thing to do is to create a background select the Rectangle tool ① in the toolbar, press SHIFT+F9 to open the Color Mixer tab in the Colors panel, set the fill type to linear gradient ③, the left slider color is white, and the right slider color is "#0091E3" ④, Draw a rectangular ⑤ that is the same size as the scene, as shown in Figure 7-4.

(2) Open the source file of instance 1 ①, copy the Sun and grassland, then return to the source file of this instance, create a new layer to place the sun and grassland image ②, select the "Freeform Tool" ③ in the toolbar, adjust the graphics size and place ④ in the appropriate position, as shown in Figure 7-5.

(3) Draw now, look at the plot of the bird before drawing, as shown in Figure 7-6.

(4) Execute "Insert" → "New symbol" menu command (shortcut key is "Ctrl+f8" ①, in the Create new symbol window, set the name to Bird 1 ②, the type to graphics ③, click the OK button ④, and create a new graphic symbol, as shown in Figure 7-7.

(5) Select the Pen tool ① in the toolbar and set the stroke color ② in the color bar. The Fill color value is #E47489 ③, the stroke height is set to 0.5 in the property panel, the stroke style is solid ④, drawing the bird body's graphic ⑤ in the workspace, and then selecting the Select Tools and Subselection tools ⑥ to adjust the graphics ⑦ as shown in Figure 7-8.

"Note": To draw the birds must be layered drawing, and lock other non-working layers, but also need to modify the name of each layer in a timely manner, which makes it easier to draw production.

(6) Change the name "Layer 1" to "body", then draw the other parts of the bird's body and draw the eyes first. Create a new layer, named "Eye" ①, select the Pencil tool ② in the toolbar, set the stroke color value to "#664C2D" ③, "stroke height" and "stroke style" and just as ④, draw the bird eyes, as shown in Figure 7-9.
