Flash MX 2004 A method of simulating the effect of typing

In some film and television works of the title, we often meet to simulate the effect of typing subtitles, in fact, many of the effects of multimedia software can be achieved. The following author takes Flash MX 2004 as an example to realize the method of simulating the typing effect.

1. Create a movie file

First turn on Flash MX 2004, press the CTRL + N key combination or select the file → new menu command to create a blank movie file, and then press the CTRL+J key or select the Modify → document menu command to open the Properties Settings dialog box for the movie file, as shown in Figure 1.

2. Enter text

Enter text on the stage of the movie file "Simulate typing effect _", then set: The Text property is "static text", the font for the official script, font size 48, bold, font color is white, alignment is left-aligned, and finally put the text in the middle of the stage, as shown in Figure 2.

　　3. Set the properties of the frame where the text is located

(1) The number of characters in the statistic text, in this case, the number of characters is 6.

Tip: Do not include text at the end of the analog typing cursor underline, if there are spaces between the text, the space should be counted into the number of characters.

(2) When the text is selected, press the F6 key at the 12th frame of the timeline panel or select the Insert → keyframe menu command in turn. Insert a keyframe, and then select all frames on the timeline where the text is located, and press F6 to set all 1 to 12 frames as keyframes, as shown in Figure 3.

(3) Select Frame 1th on the timeline, delete all characters between "modulo" and "_" in frame 1th text, select the 2nd frame on the timeline, and delete all characters after "modulo" in the 2nd frame text. And so forth, in frame 3rd, delete all the characters between "to" and "_", delete all the characters after "proposed" in frame 4th, that is, add a word on the basis of the original text, and the analog typing cursor flashes until the text is complete.

Tip: In the process of deletion, you cannot move the position of the text.

　　4. Save and test a movie file

(1) Press "Ctrl+s" key combination or select "file → save" menu command to save the movie.

(2) Press "Ctrl+alt+shift+s" key combination or select "file → export movie" menu command to output movie file.
