Menus are one of the most basic and important parts of an application, and most of the functionality can be implemented in a menu, except for some special requirements that require mouse action. Therefore, as long as we master the meaning of each menu bar name, the use of rules and general functions, basically learn flash also succeeded half.

  File Menu

New>> is new, you can create a new Flash file.
Open...>> open to open the Flash file and some related files.

  Edit Menu

The Edit menu is basically used to cut, copy, and paste the various objects in the flash. "Insert Object" can be used to insert objects from other external applications and invoke the appropriate application to edit them.

Cut>> cut.
copy>> replication.
paste>> paste.
Paste in place>> pasted in a location.

  View Menu

100%>> display ratio 100%.

Timeline>> Displays the timeline.
Work area>> Displays the workspace.
Rulers>> Displays the ruler.
Grid>> Displays the grid.

Show shape hints>> shows shape hints.

  Inserts (insert) menu

Convert to symbol...>> into samples.
New symbol...>> creates a fresh sample.
Layer>> inserts a new layer.
Motion guide>> Inserts the Motion wizard layer.
Frame>> inserts a new frame.
Delete frame>> deletes frames.
keyframe>> Insert keyframes.
Blank keyframe>> inserts a null keyframe.
Clear Keyframe>> clears keyframes.
The Create Motion tween>> creates an animation between two keyframes.
Scene>> inserts a new scene.
Remove scene>> Delete scene.
Note: The sample (Symbol) is the object stored in the current library (s), so long as a certain kind becomes a sample, the sample can be reused anywhere in the work, and the size of the file is not significantly increased because they are all using the same sample. Some of the commands in this menu can also be found in the Drop-down menu in the timeline.

  Modify (Modify) menu

The function of modifying menus is to modify the features of objects, scenes, and even the animation itself in a work. In Flash, a movie is a complete flash animation, but also the final release of the finished product. In a movie, there can be many scenes (SCENE), and each SCENE is made up of one or more frames (frame). To be mentioned, samples in the sample library can be used many times in an animation, and the samples appearing in the animation are called instances (INSTANCE). The Group,ungroup and break apart in the Modify menu are all used to work with groups.

instance...>> instance, modifying an instance property does not affect the sample (Symbol) and other properties that use the same sample instance.
Frame...>> Modify the frame properties.
Layer...>> Modify the layer properties.
Scene...>> Modify the scene properties.
Movie...>> Modify the movie properties.
Font...>> Modify font properties.
Paragraph...>> Modify paragraph properties.
Style>> Modify style, such as bold italic font and text alignment.
Kerning>> kerning.
Text field...>> sets the properties of the text entry box.
Transform>> adjust the ratio and rotation angle, go to color, additions and deletions graphic appearance tips.
arrange>> arrangement, provide the function such as move forward, lock back lock.
Curves>> is used to modify the curvature of a line.
Frames>> to modify frames in batches, such as reversing the order of frames.

  Control Menu

The Control menu controls the playback of the movie and allows the creator to control the movie's progress on the spot. Although Flash is basically WYSIWYG, there are still parts of it that cannot be displayed directly on the stage and need to be implemented through the "Test movie" or "Test scene" commands in the menu.

Play>> play the movie.
Rewind>> Rewind the belt.
Step forward>> forward.
Step backward>> back.
Test movie>> the film.
Test scene>> testing scenario.
Loop playback>> Cycle Replay.
Play all scenes>> the scene.
The Enable frame actions>> activates the frame action.
Enable button>> Activate button.

  Library (libraries) Menu

This is the flash with the sample library, you just put your own library files in the Flash directory in the "Libraries" folder, you can become a part of the library samples, you can easily reuse these samples.

  Window Menu
