First, let's take a look at the effect of the finished production as shown in Figure 1:
Figure 1
Now we're going to start making:
Step One: Create lights and leaf outlines
1 we have to create a virtual light, let the lights on the leaves, so that the leaves have high light and shaded areas, so as to achieve more realistic effect. First set the background color to #666666, and then create a layer called ' light Source ', in frame 10th, press F5 to create a keyframe, draw a virtual light with the drawing tool in the upper-left corner of the plot area (shown in Figure 2), which will determine what part of the leaf we draw in the shaded area and the high light area.
2 then create a layer under light source named ' outline ' and then use the lines, pencil tools, and selection tool and part selection tool (line color for #00ff00) to draw the leaf contour as shown in Figure 2:
Figure 2
Step Two: Create the leaf veins
Create a new layer on the outline, name the leaf, right click on the first frame on outline, select ' Copy Frame ', press F6 on frame 2nd, right click on frame 2nd, select ' Paste frame ', draw the veins with the line tool, also can use the Pen tool, so revise more meticulous lifelike, finally with the part of the selection tool finally modify the OK, the effect is as Figure 3:
Figure 3
Step Three: Fill the veins with color
Create a new layer on the leaf, named vein, press F6 at frame 3rd, select all veins on the leaf layer, crtl+c, select frame 3rd on vein, Crtl+v, and then fill the veins with two linear fill colors, and the branches of the veins. The values of the two linear fills are shown in the following illustration:
Trunk Fill Color
The first color block value is #8a1b00
The second color block value is #490000
Branch Fill Color
The first color block value is #b4200c,alpha:50%
The second color block value is #490000,alpha:75%
The fill finish is as shown in Figure 4:
Figure 4
The Fourth step: to draw different color areas for the veins, the color of the leaves to partition and fill color
Press F6 on the 3rd and 4 frames on the leaf, then empty the contents of the 3rd frame, and use the Pencil tool on the 4th frame to draw the different brightness of the leaves and the filled areas of different colors. On the 5th frame, press F6, with the filler tool, according to the visual angle we established in front of the virtual light, the light color represents the highlight area, the dark color represents the shaded area, and the color is selected for filling. The drawing and fill colors are complete as shown in Figure 5:
Figure 5
A total of 4 kinds of color, the most shallow: #F4C84C #EC8926 #C32A0B #820C06, you will find in a large area is not filled, which is filled with radiation, the specific values are as follows:
The first color block value is #c32a0b, the second color block value is #e36c24, after setting, fills the unfilled place. We must pay attention to the details, our petiole has not yet been painted. The petiole is also filled with a radial color. The values are as follows:
Color Block color is: #A22F12 #D1885B #E0AC8D #D17F50 #D14C13, after the setting is complete, you can fill.
Note: in the fourth step for easy operation will be vein first hidden, after the operation is completed can be displayed again.
Fifth Step: Remove color area border line
Select the leaf layer, select all the border lines on frame 6th and press Dele to delete them. The effect is as shown in Figure 6:
Figure 6
To make it here, maybe you think it's a lot like it, but in fact, we built a virtual light in the first step to make the leaves more real, and we'll do a series of details below.
Step Sixth: Build the first texture of the leaves
Create a new layer on the leaf, called Texture1, press F6 on its 7th frame, and use a gradient that creates a radial fill, as shown in the following figure:
The colors of the two color blocks are the same: the Alpha of the #820C06 two color blocks are: 75% and 0% respectively;
Then use the Circle tool (its fill color is the radial gradient just set, no border color) draw a circle, then select the Circle and then press Ctrl+g to combine it, and then copy 6, respectively, through the deformation, rotation tool to rotate the deformation, according to the lighting angle of the virtual light, put them in different positions of the leaves, Reach the shadow effect. The complete effect is shown in Figure 7:
Figure 7
I have chosen these figures to make it easier for everyone to know where they are placed, and finally, don't forget to remove the unwanted graphics from the top left corner.
Step Seventh: Create a second leaf texture
With the sixth step, the method is basically consistent, creating a new layer on the Texture1, named Texture2, pressing F6 on its 8th frame, using a gradient with a radial fill, the value shown in the following figure:
The colors of the two color blocks are the same: the Alpha of the #D24917 two color blocks are: 75% and 0% respectively;
Then use the Circle tool (its fill color is the radial gradient just set, no border color) draw a circle, then select this circle and then press Ctrl+g to combine it, then copy 15, respectively, through the deformation, rotation tool to rotate it after the rotation of the leaves in different positions, complete the effect as shown in Figure 8:
Figure 8
As with the sixth step, I have chosen these figures to make it easier for everyone to know where they are placed, and finally, don't forget to remove the unwanted graphics from the top left corner.
Eighth Step: Add miscellaneous points to the leaves
To make the leaves more lifelike, we add many smaller details to the leaves, create a new layer on the Texture2, called Texture3, press F6 on its 9th frame, you use a pencil, pen and other drawing tools, without the same color in different positions of the leaves to draw different points, so that the leaves more real , do not forget the root of the petiole there is a small miscellaneous point. The final effect of all steps is as shown in Figure 9.
