Flexible control of Win7 system microphone level

Right-click the Volume Control button at the right end of the Win7 taskbar and select "Recording Device" from the pop-up menu.

The Win7 system opens the Recording tab of the sound Control Panel directly.

Here we select the microphone device currently in use and click on the "Properties" button in the lower-right corner.

In the Microphone Properties Settings screen, we select the Level tab.

Here we have the flexibility to set the microphone volume and enhance the level.
