Fluke network upgrade multimeter allows you to quickly manage VoIP (figure)

Fluke Networks Fluke Network) recently released a new NetTool II series online network multimeter with the NetProve diagnostic function. It diagnoses Enterprise Network and application connectivity faults four times faster than traditional methods.
The newly released NetTool II series has a simple one-step NetProve test function, allowing technicians to quickly and conveniently identify the root cause of the problem regardless of their expertise. The NetTool II series can identify whether a fault originated from a device such as a server, vswitch, or vro) or an application such as SMTP, FTP, or HTTP ). The NetProve test results can be saved to the test report to archive the connectivity status.
NetTool still provides a unique view of the actual network traffic between the fluoroscopy network and terminal devices such as PCs, VoIP phones, access points, printers, and photocopiers. The II series provides online visibility including Gigabit Ethernet, allowing you to easily identify device and network configurations and performance with online testing, reducing troubleshooting time.
The NetTool II series is also a first-line VoIP management tool. You can verify the link support status in the pre-deployment plan and monitor real-time VoIP traffic to resolve network faults in operation. The simple online connection function provides the ability to view VoIP calls, quickly diagnose IP Phone start-up and call control faults, and measure the quality of key calls. The NetTool II series adds H.323 to the existing support for SIP and SCCP.
Another new feature of the NetTool II series is advanced PoE detection and measurement. NetTool can negotiate with the Ethernet-based power supply device PSE, just like the powered device, and display the voltage and current from the cable. In this way, no individual PoE detector is required, and the measurement and troubleshooting PoE links are faster and more accurate.
The NetTool II series has built-in intelliitone audio generator. This digital audio generator can be used with Fluke Networks's intelliitone probe to safely and efficiently locate the cable, even if it is a network in operation or a link connected to a switch. This reduces the time required to identify and identify cables in typical LAN distribution cabinets by more than 95%.
The NetTool II series comes in two models: the NetTool II Pro series that includes the NetProve function and can test the 10/100/1000 network; NetTool II Pro VoIP with the VoIP diagnostic option added. The two models can now be purchased from a sales partner of fluke networks.
