Flying Letter (fetion) file transfer

You can send a file or folder to a friend by flying your PC client. This includes sending files directly to a friend's client, sending files directly to a buddy's phone, sending a file folder to a PC's online buddy's phone, sending a file to his cell phone, sending a group of files to a friend, and e-mailing an offline file to a buddy.

Fly to the PC client directly send files to the maximum support of 2GB; send files to PC online friends on the phone to the maximum support 10M; Send files to the mobile client online friends max support 10M; Send files to the SMS online buddy phone with maximum support 2M; send files to your phone with maximum support 2M; Mass files to friends 10M maximum support, send offline files to friends max support 50M.

Send a file to a friend

In the conversation window with friends, click the "File Transfer" icon on the toolbar, open the Select File window, select the file you want to send, click "Open" to send the file. During the send process, you can click "Cancel" at any time to cancel this file transfer (Figure 1).

You can also select a friend in the buddy list, click the right button, select "Send File", open the Select File window, choose File to send. Or drag the file that you want to send directly to the current session window.

If you choose to send files directly to your buddy's phone, your buddy will receive a WAP push message containing the file download information and download the file via the WAP push message.

Send a folder to a friend

In the conversation window with friends, click the drop-down arrow on the right side of the file transfer icon on the toolbar, select "Send Folder" from the pop-up menu, open the Select Folder window, select the folder you want to send, and click "OK" to send the file. In the process of sending, you can click "Cancel" at any time, cancel this time folder transmission.

Tip: You cannot send empty folders.

You can also drag the folder you want to send directly to the current session window and send a folder to your buddy.

Send files to your phone

Tip: Users who are not bound to a mobile phone number cannot use this feature.

By flying to the PC client, you can send the file directly to your phone.

In the Flying Letter PC client Avatar drop-down menu, select "Send files to their own mobile phone."

Open the Select File window, select the file you want to send, and click "Open" to send the file.

After the file is sent successfully, your phone will receive a WAP push message containing the file download information to download to your phone via WAP push information.

In addition, you can also through the "main menu → tools → to send their own mobile files" to complete.

Mass files

In the Multiplayer conversation window, click on the "File transfer " icon, open the Select File window, select the file you want to send, click "Open" to send the file.

You can also group files by sending them in the following ways:

On the buddy list Buddy group node, right click "Mass file to this group."

After selecting multiple friends on the buddy list, right-click the "Mass file".

Tip: When sending a mass file through a multiplayer session, if a participant rejects a file or receives a file failure, it is prompted in the current Multiplayer session window. such as: "XX has been canceled to receive XX file" or "xx to receive XX file failed."

Send Offline Files

By flying to the PC client, you can send offline files to your friends.

Regardless of whether your friends are online or not, you can choose to send offline files to your friends regardless of which client they are logged on to. In the conversation window with friends, click on the toolbar "file transfer" icon to the right of the drop-down arrow, in the pop-up menu select "Send Offline File", open the Select File window, select the file you want to send, click "Open", you can send offline files.

If you choose to send offline Files to your friends, friends can choose whether to receive your offline files after they log on to the PC client.

Offline file expiration of 7 days, that is, friends if you send offline files within 7 days after you log on to the PC client, can receive the offline file normally; buddy if you log on to your PC client 7 days after you send an offline file, or if you log on to your PC client within 7 days of sending an offline file, you do not receive offline files. The offline file will expire after 7 days, and you will receive a notification that the offline file has expired.

Offline file SMS notification settings.

Because offline files have an expiration time limit, to avoid you or your friends miss receiving offline files, you can set offline file SMS notification (Figure 2). SMS notification settings include:

Set whether to send SMS notifications to friends.

Set whether to receive SMS notification of offline files.

In "system settings → friends and chat → SMS settings", if you check "to the client is not a line of friends send a file, automatic SMS notification," then you successfully sent offline files, the system will automatically send a message to friends, notify friends you sent him offline files; After sending the file to the client who is not on the line, send SMS notification automatically, then you can choose to send the SMS notice manually after you have successfully sent the offline file.

If you have selected "Receive offline file SMS Notification", then when you do not log on to the client, if a friend sent you offline files, your phone will receive SMS notification, otherwise you will not receive such notification.

Receive files or folders

When a transfer request is received for a file or folder, a session window with that friend opens (Figure 3), and you can choose:

Save: Saves the file or folder to the default directory.

Save as: Saves the file or folder to the specified directory.

Reject: Reject transfer Request for file or folder.

When you receive a relatively long file or folder, after opening the session window (Figure 3), you can also choose:

Save all: Save all files or folders in the system-set file transfer directory.

All Save as: Save all files or folders to the specified directory.

Full rejection: Rejects all file or folder transfer requests.
