Focus on address changes to keep your workstation away from attacks

Today, when network viruses go viral, we are able to be attacked by viruses or hackers with a little carelessness. In order to keep your workstation away from illegal attacks, many people have adopted a variety of anti-virus software and firewall programs to secure Internet surfing on the workstation. In fact, many hackers or viruses attack the workstation through IP addresses. If we can hide the real IP address of the workstation, the possibility of illegal attacks on the workstation will be greatly reduced. To achieve this goal, I found a proxy tool, Steganos Internet Anonym Pro, which keeps changing the IP address of the workstation, we can easily keep our workstation away from illegal attacks.

　　Prepare for IP address hiding

To keep the IP address of the workstation changing constantly, we first need to install Steganos Internet Anonym Pro in the workstation system. Before installing the program, let's first get to know the agent. This program is actually a powerful network identity hiding tool. It can be used to easily hide your identity or eliminate the website information, Cookkies, and temporary files that we have browsed, therefore, we can access all networks like a person on the Internet without leaving any traces of access, so that we can avoid monitoring any spyware, this ensures that the workstation is away from illegal attacks by viruses or Trojans.

When installing the Steganos Internet Anonym Pro program, we only need to download the installation program from the Internet, and then double-click the executable file, follow the wizard prompts to successfully install the agent. After installation, you can double-click the Steganos Internet Anonym Pro program shortcut icon on the system desktop to start the program. Of course, when you run the program for the first time, the system will automatically pop up the registration prompt information, click "Enter serial number ..." In the text box that appears, enter the correct registration code, and click "Next" continuously to open the IP address shown in 1 to hide the main interface.

　　Test the performance of the built-in Proxy Server

Because the Steganos Internet Anonym Pro program constantly changes the IP address through proxy, before hiding the IP address of the workstation, we need to first test whether the performance of the agent server built in the program is normal, filter out the most stable Proxy Servers Based on the test results. When testing the proxy server performance, We can click the "Check Anonimity" button on the main interface, and then the Steganos Internet Anonym Pro program can automatically detect its own proxy server, the unused proxy servers will be automatically deleted during the detection process. After the test, we can see the number of proxies and the average access speed of the anonymous proxy server from the program interface.

　　Keeps the IP address of the workstation changing

Once the proxy server works properly, we can now use the Steganos Internet Anonym Pro program to keep changing the IP address of the workstation. Right-click the Steganos Internet Anonym Pro program icon in the system tray area, and run the "Active anonymous surfing" command from the shortcut menu (2 ), now we can officially start the anonymous surfing journey. In the lower-right area of the program interface, we can see the real IP address of the local workstation from "Your real IP address, the "Your current camouflage" area shows the disguised IP address used by the workstation after the proxy server. In addition, we can also clearly see that the camouflage IP addresses used by the workstation are constantly changing. Every time the addresses change, the coordinates of the corresponding addresses will be moved from one location of the map to another. As a result, no hacker program or Trojan program can identify the IP address used by the local workstation. In this case, the hacker or Trojan will give up attacking the local workstation because they cannot find the target. Of course, if you want to temporarily stop changing the IP address of the workstation, simply click the "Deactivate anonymous surfing" command in menu 2.

By default, the Steganos Internet Anonym Pro program automatically adjusts the proxy server every one second. This frequent adjustment ensures a high security level, however, this will greatly consume valuable network bandwidth resources. This frequent adjustment of proxy server operations is obviously not appropriate in the environment where the Internet bandwidth is not "rich, it is necessary to adjust the interval for changing the IP address of the workstation. When adjusting this parameter, you can click the "settings" command option in the shortcut menu shown in figure 2, click the "Anonymizing" button in the "Surf anonymously" setting item on the interface to open the parameter setting interface shown in 3. Select the "Surf using anonymizing proxy servers" option on the interface, then, we will find that the "Camouflage Identity Change" option in this setting interface will be automatically activated. Next, we can go to "slow" (every minute) and "fast" (every second) select a balance between them, and click OK to make the settings take effect.

Protect workstation surfing privacy information

The Steganos Internet Anonym Pro program not only helps us hide the IP address of the workstation, but also provides a variety of functions to protect the privacy of the Internet. We can also make full use of these features to keep the workstation away from attacks.

For example, to prevent malicious control programs hidden in unfamiliar webpages from attacking the local workstation system, we can prevent the automatic operation of website control programs. To do this, you can click the "Comfort & Security" button on the main program interface to open the parameter setting interface shown in 4. In this interface, you can select the appropriate Security options as required, for example, if you select the "ActiveX objects" option, you can automatically block malicious controls on unfamiliar websites. If you want to block various pop-up windows on your website, you can select the pop-up window option here.

During surfing the Internet, the wks system will automatically remember the Website access traces without permission. If our workstations are shared with others, the traces of surfing the Internet are easily noticed by others. To this end, we can use the clear record function of the Steganos Internet Anonym Pro program, to clear all the private content automatically detected by the agent in a timely manner. When clearing various private content, you only need to click the "Destroy Traces" button on the main program interface to open the Privacy Information List window shown in 5 and select the items to be cleared, click the "Destroy" button to clear the surfing privacy information.

In addition, the Steganos Internet Anonym Pro program allows us to encrypt the contents of favorites to prevent other users from viewing their favorite contents at will. When encrypting favorites, we only need to execute the "Private favorites" command in the shortcut menu in figure 2 and select the "Private favorites" column in the pop-up interface, set the password correctly, and then import all the contents in our favorites to the encrypted favorites.
