11 Awesome iOS Development learning sites
Original: Insanely great IOS developers Sites
Never stop to learn from others
I believe that to become a great person from a "good" person, we need to keep learning from others while adapting to the latest technologies and tools as early as possible. In addition to the official Apple documentation website, I have listed some websites that can get valuable articles and resources that can help us to take a step further.
Let's look at some of the original content blogs first:
Objc.io
This site is updated monthly by world-class iOS engineers. You'll find high-quality articles and in-depth reviews on some topics, as well as a subscription-based magazine ipad app. The site was discovered and provided by Chris Eidhof, Daniel Eggert and Florian Kugler.
Subjective-c
The site is known for parsing and refactoring innovative models and UI for well-known applications. The site provides procedural articles and code libraries for their experiments. By Sam Page lead author. It's a pity that the author decided to pause the update, but fortunately the old tutorials are still worth seeing.
Nshipster
A Web site with a class-based walkthrough with sample code. Its article explores the programming style, and the use and implementation of the most cutting-edge classes. Created by Afnetworking's author Mattt Thompson, currently administered by Nate Cook.
Peter Steinberger
This site is a personal blog, the author of the famous iOS commercial PDF library, the founder of this product has been used in the famous applications such as Dropbox and Evernote. Site content includes some amazing hacker resources and debug resources to help developers learn and practice.
Ole Begemann
This blog focuses on sharing personal experiences, discussing code styles and API design, and sometimes revealing some of the private and interesting classes that Apple uses.
Florian Kugler
A personal blog written by Objc.io co-authors. You can find a lot of articles and discussions on performance testing, including UI drawing applied to multi-core data.
Nsblog
Created with interesting question and answer forms, it contains deep questions about Objective-c and other topics. If you have questions about rebuilding a basic class like NSObject, you can ask Mike Ash.
Cocoa
The iOS developer source and in-depth observations from the iOS developer's Tumblr are a bit random but still useful.
Here are some blogs that can help us get the latest news.
IOS Dev Weekly
Updated weekly since 2011, with subscribers already over 20,000. It can help us get useful iOS articles from the Web. Safari's push notification feature is also available. Discovered and provided by Dave Verwer.
IOS Developer Tips
One of the earliest iOS push resources updated daily since 2008. Includes articles in many areas, such as development tips, UX, gossip, personal experiences and stories. Orchestrated by John Muchow.
IOS Goodies
Newer iOS kiosks. Content includes papers, controls/tools, business, UI, various media types, and more. Updated weekly by Rui Peres and Tiago Almeida.
Appcoda
Created by a developer friend of mine in Hong Kong, he recently quit his job to focus on maintaining the site. Includes online articles and post-payment downloadable articles that focus on the latest APIs and structures for execution. Created by Simon Ng, it's worth a look.
Two valuable original content blogs.
Krzysztof Zab?ocki
Provides tips on code structure, tools, and Xcode, and of course, I missed it when I first published this blog. We have learned a lot from these high-level articles.
IOS Development Tips
Relatively new blogs have some detailed hints about using Xcode and APIs, even if you're in a hurry and worth a look. The author is Rounak Jain.
Time is precious, so we have to choose the news source wisely.
The better you read, the better you do.
The more you read, the less you do.
This is certainly not a complete list, but it's good enough for me. If there are any good sites I missed, be sure to tell me.
If you think the article works, you can find more of my articles in iOS apprentice.
