Recently, I have been studying bar codes, mainly 39 and 128 codes. I think they are quite interesting. These two types of bar codes are actually quite simple. Their encoding features are as follows:
1. Each line contains one character;
2. The line is 1, and the line is 0;
3. The gap width between lines indicates 1, and the narrow value indicates 0;
4. Five lines plus the four gaps between them is nine-bit binary encoding, and three of the nine digits must be 1, so it is called 39 yards;
5. the start and end of each bar code * indicates the start and end of each line.
In my opinion, the 128 code is more advantageous, mainly because its width is obviously shorter than that of 39 codes, which is very convenient for some businesses with long bar codes.
