When you scan the pair of pages, two pages will be displayed on the same image. To improve OCR quality, the image of the page needs to be split into two separate images. OCR word recognition software ABBYY FineReader 12 provides a special mode that automatically splits two pairs of pages into two separate images in a abbyy FineReader document. This paper introduces you to the ABBYY FineReader 12 scanning brightness of the page tips.
Follow the instructions below to scan the page or two pages of a book.
1. Open the Options dialog box (Tools > Options) and click Scan to open the tab.
2. In the General repair group, select split Pair page. Note: To get the best results, make sure the page orientation is correct when you scan and enable the Detect page orientation option in the Scan/Open tab of the Options dialog box.
3. Scan the pair of pages.
You can also access the automatic Processing settings by clicking the Options button (File > Open PDF file or image) in the Open Image dialog box or by clicking the Scan dialog box.
You can also split a pair of pages manually:
1. Open the Image editor (Image > Edit image).
