This article is a brief introduction to the Office Access 2007 Navigation Pane!
When you open a database or create a new database, the name of the database object is displayed in the Navigation Pane. database objects include tables, forms, reports, pages, macros, and modules. The Navigation Pane replaces the Database window used in earlier versions of Access (if you use the Database window to perform tasks in previous versions, you can now use the Navigation Pane in Office Access 2007 to perform the same task). For example, if you want to add rows to a table in Datasheet view, you can open the table from the Navigation Pane.
To open a database object or apply a command to a database object, right-click the object, and then select a menu item from the context menu. The commands in the context menu vary by object type.
