1. Install activereports

The installation steps are very simple. You can install activereports on your machine by following these steps.

Note:Your machine installer may require you to log on as an administrator. If you do not have the Administrator permission, contact your system administrator.

1. Under the installation directory of activereports, double-click the setup.exe file or right-click the file and select install.

2. In the activereports welcome window, click Next to continue the installation.

3. On the End User License Agreement page, read the terms in the license agreement, select the "accept authorization terms" check box, and then click Next to continue installation.

4. On the Installation Options page, select whether to install the activereports sample project together, and click Next to continue the installation.

Note:These sample projects will help you learn and use the products. The randomly installed product examples are comprehensive and cover almost all the functions of AR products. We recommend that you run the learning program.

5. On the available licensing methods page, select from the three options (Evaluation permit, activate now, and activate later), and click Install.

6. After the installation is complete, a prompt is displayed, indicating that the installation is complete. Click Finish to close the window and complete the installation process.

3. Activate the activereports Control

The activereports report control provides two activation Methods: Online activation, reverse activation, and offline activation, and reverse activation. WhereOffline activation/anti-activationIt is designed to meet the needs of users who cannot connect to the Internet in some working environments. Through Reverse activation, you can transfer the license to another computer. This section describes in detail how to manage authorization in the development computer.

Note that you must activate activereports before re-installing the system. Otherwise, your serial number will be locked and cannot be used.

Online Activation

1. Open "License Management Tools" in the Start Menu"
