Open the document for which you want to add background music, click the View menu, select Header and footer, switch to footer editing status, and then open the Object command under the Insert menu, and select Windows Media Player in the object type to insert a WMP object.
Right-click the inserted object, select the Properties command, and click the Custom button above the Open Properties window. Then click the Browse button after customize to set the file name or URL of source in the open window, that is, click the Browse button to add the file that will be played automatically, and select mode Set to invisible, set play options to auto start, play count set as needed, click OK to save the settings and save the setting to return to the main interface and keep the Word document.
You can now automatically play the background music that you inserted as soon as you open the document.
