In XP, if we want to enter safe mode, we must press F8 at startup, and then select safe mode in the Enable mode menu. In fact, we can add the security mode directly to the multi-Start Menu just like installing multiple operating systems. To enter the security mode, just select one of the multiple operating systems.
Open the boot. ini file in the root directory of the C drive

Copy professional "/fastdetect" and paste a copy under the row.
Then
Change professional to Microsoft Windows XP
Safemode ", save the changes and Disable boot. ini.
Click the Start menu to open the run dialog box and run msconfig to open the System Configuration Utility.ProgramWindow, switch to the "boot. ini" tab.

In this way, the security mode function is added for this item. If you need additional support, you can also select after "/safeboot (f)". For example, select "Network (w)" to implement the security mode supported by the Network (1 ).
