1. Close Word first.
2. Open the directory C:/Documents and Settings/Loginuser/Application Data/Microsoft/Templates (Loginuser is the user name of the logon user on the current computer; if the Application Data directory cannot be displayed, go to "my computer" and select Tools> Folder Options> View> show all files and folders ).
3. Delete the. dot file in the directory after the backup (the backup is just in case, but it does not actually work ).
4. open Word and go to help> about Microsoft Office Word> disable a project.
5. In the pop-up window, select the Enable option, start the standalone instance, and close it.
6. Close the Word and restart it. The problem is solved.

To resolve office 2007, follow these steps:
Click "office menu icon"> "word option"> "add-on" in the lower-right corner of the menu icon in the upper-left corner to check whether the acrobat addin exists in the Disabled Project. Enable it and restart "word.
If the problem persists, delete it in step 3 *. dot and *. open ms word before the dotm file, disable all the add-ons about pdf, and then perform step 3 and step 4.

After the installation is complete, restart the system. The error message "the producer maker file is missing" is returned. There is no way to uninstall and reinstall it.
