The Ubuntu Technical Committee has just made a tough decision. They decided to stop automatically downloading and installing third-party or proprietary software, such as Adobe Flash, in the next Ubuntu version.
The Ubuntu community has a suggestion about adding the option to install a third-party software package by default in Ubuntu, which the Ubuntu team rejects, which will make the Ubuntu machine no longer use proprietary software.
If Ubuntu accepts this suggestion, it will indirectly force users to install the proprietary software. In other words, Ubuntu will ask you if you refuse to install the proprietary software.
The Ubuntu Technical Committee discussed the proposal in March 24, but unanimously denied the proposal.
