Adobe announced at Google's annual Developer Conference on Thursday in San Francisco that Adobe will work with Google to launch Flash 10.1 for Android operating systems. It is reported that this version will be applied to Google's latest Android system and Google TV devices.
The new flash version released by Adobe is applicable to cross-platform media, such as PCs, mobile phones, and other electronic devices. Previously, mobile phone manufacturers supporting Flash technology generally installed the simplified Flash Lite version of the player, which can reduce power consumption and optimize the mobile phone battery system. Flash 10.1 can play all videos and Their Applications on mobile devices and insert Flash plug-ins in Web browsers.

It is reported that the new flash version is mainly designed to adapt to the mobile phone function. Flash 10.1 supports the Android mobile phone touch screen function. The player also supports smart zoom, full screen display, and smart video rendering technologies. Flash 10.1 also uses hardware decoding and out-of-memory management to improve the running capability of mobile phones.

Previously, Adobe fell into a battle with Apple. Apple CEO Steve Jobs said in a recent public letter that Apple products will not support Flash technology and accused Adobe of being 100% private. In response, Adobe executives said Apple was not open to flash, making it unavailable for Apple products. Adobe took the initiative to work with Google to launch a new version of flash for Android at this critical moment.

Vic gundotra, vice president of Google's Engineering Department, thanked adobe for its contribution to Google's Android mobile phone products in a keynote speech at the developer conference. Gang duo said, "openness means inclusiveness, not exclusive ."

In addition to Android mobile phones, flash 10.1 will also be used in Windows phone7, WebOS, Nokia Symbian, and blackberry systems. Adobe released the latest Flash Player version and plans to launch the flash player in the first quarter of this year. However, the company has decided to postpone the release date. It is reported that the new flash 10.1 Player version will be officially launched in May.
