[ALM] Step by step build MS ALM Environment-install TFS + SQL SERVER

Description:

Install SQL SERVER 2012, install TFS 2013, configure TFS, roll up your sleeves, get ready to go

steps:

1. Open Hyper-V Manager, refer to [Hyper-V] to create a new virtual machine using the operating system template, first complete the installation of the operating system, note the following to modify the following information:

Disk Name: TFS.VHDX

Disk storage location: X:\VMs\DC

Virtual machine Name: TFS

Use an existing virtual machine disk: X:\VMS\DC\TFS.VHDX

Choose to use intranet network card: Internalvirtualnetwork

Memory Size: 4096 MB

Server role: Team foundatiton server, MS SQL Server

2, refer to [ALM] Step by step build MS ALM Environment-install domain Server This text, set the server network, name, join the domain

Server domain \ Name: alm\tfs

Server ip:192.168.35.6

Gateway ip:192.168.35.1

Domain join: ALM

3, first install MSSQL, next TFS, first look at MSSQL, if not shout stop, all the way next, OK down

Stop! Tick agree to terms of service and continue running

Follow the Tick SQL Features

First select hybrid login mode, followed by the sa password

Add to the SQL Server Administrators group for the current user

Add current user to analysis Services Administrator

Start installing TFS below, this simple, one-click Installation,

First, map the installation image of TFS to an optical drive, and double-click the ISO file directly under Windows 8.1

Then assign to the virtual machine CD drive, and then start the virtual machine and install it directly

Tick agree to terms of service, click Install

Automatically jump out of the configuration window when the installation is complete, select Advanced, Start the wizard

Click the test link and a green tick indicates the connection was successful.

Click the test link appears green tick indicates success

To cancel this, we will install the SharePoint server and configure it separately, we don't need it first

All the way to this, let's have a little rest, and then open IE input http://tfs:8080/tfs take a look
