Failure phenomenon:
AMD released the new AMD VISION Engine Control center console with the older version has a slight change, mainly for dual graphics card switching function/Video settings/Game Settings interface
Solution:
1. Power Configuration/configuration interchangeable video card
Right-click on the desktop to configure an interchangeable display card, you can enter an option to set graphics performance individually for the application, with high performance/power saving/On/off/unassigned.
Next to the application, select the appropriate GPU from the graphics settings Drop-down list:
· High Performance-Select more power consumption, but can provide excellent video and image quality on the display card on the independent GPU.
· Save power-Select an integrated GPU that consumes less power, but only provides basic video and graphics quality.
· Power based-Select the GPU based on the Global Application Settings page. For more information, see Select to toggle Display Global settings (dynamic). Unless you set global application settings to optimize performance or maximize performance, you are using a power-saving GPU.
· Unassigned-Select the GPU based on the Global Application Settings page. For more information, see Select to toggle Display Global settings (dynamic). Unless you set the global application settings to maximize performance, you are using a power-saving GPU.
Click on the "Toggle Display card Global Settings" to make global settings-including mandatory power-saving display card/optimize power/Best performance/maximize performance.
· Force power-saving display-forces all applications to run on the power-saving GPU.
· Optimize power saving-run applications assigned to a high-performance GPU or power-saving GPU on the corresponding GPU. Other applications run on the power-saving GPU.
· Optimize performance-run applications assigned to a high-performance GPU or power-saving GPU on the corresponding GPU. Run the application that is set to select the GPU based on the power settings on the high-performance GPU. Running an unassigned GPU application on a power-saving GPU.
· Maximize performance-run applications assigned to a high-performance GPU or power-saving GPU on the corresponding GPU. Other applications run on a high-performance GPU.
2. Video settings
AMD steady Video (power-saving display card/high-performance display card)--has been set up separately from previous versions in the visual quality settings.
AMD steady video is a technique used to stabilize the jitter in the playback of videos. A personal video taken with a hand-held camera and other devices can cause jitter. AMD steady videos can be processed while playing video, eliminating unwanted actions and rendering more stable images.
Video-Color (power-saving display card/High performance display card)
Using the player settings by default, you can manually adjust to AMD settings
Video-Quality (power-saving display card/High performance display card)
3. Game (Power-saving display card/high-performance display card)-consistent with the old version of the content, select the interface and layout changes.
