Android 4.4 Environment Build--android SDK Download and install

Learn to develop Android apps and need to download and install the Android SDK. On android 's official website, the two-level domain name http://developer.android.com/index.html can be downloaded to the full version of the Android SDK, You can also download to the latest version of the Android SDKthat contains the development tools ( Eclipsewith ADT plugin). The steps to download and install the latest version of the Android SDK containing the development tools are described in more detail below.

& Description: In the full version of androidsdk , the emulator, tutorials,API documentation, sample code, and more are included. After mastering the basics, it is recommended to download the full version of the Android SDKfor the actual project development, which makesit easy to query the API documentation and solve the problems encountered.

(1) Open the browser, go to the Android Developer Official homepage, the address is "http://developer.android.com/index.html". As shown in 1.19 .

(2) on this page, display the information and application of Android 4.4 operating system as a slideshow, click the Get the SDK hyperlink below the webpage and go to the Android SDK Download the page, as shown in1.20 .

(3) The Android SDK download button under the Windows platform is provided by default on this page. Click the Download the SDK ADT bundlefor Windows button to go to the page shown in 1.21 .

(4) After selecting the check box and radio button shown in Figure 1.15 , the following Download the SDK adtbundle for Windows button will become available button, click the button will pop up 1.22 The Download dialog box shown, click the "Save" button to save the downloaded file to any location on your local hard drive.

(5) When the file is downloaded, you will get a compressed file called Adt-bundle-windows-x86-20140321.zip , unzip the file to your preferred location (for example, unzip it to F packing directory), will get the content shown in 1.23 .

Note: before you start Eclipse, make sure that your computer has successfully installed and configured the JDK.

(6) Open the Eclipse folder and double-click on the eclipse.exe file to launch Eclipsefor Android project Development, which Eclipse already contains the ADT plug-ins necessary to develop an Android project. When you start Eclipse, the Set Workspace dialog box pops up, where you specify the workspace location, as shown in1.24 , and click the OK button to go to the Eclipse Workbench , a welcome page is displayed by default, the Welcome page is closed, and the Workbench interface shown in 1.25 is displayed.

& Description: The first run of Eclipse will pop up the Contribute usage Statistics dialog box, Ask if you want to send a custom Usage tab to Google, if you don't publish, select thenoradio button, and then click Finish Button.
