AVD(android Virtual device) is an android emulator that is officially provided by Android to be able to perform Android Program's virtual machine, you need to create the AVD emulator before executing the Android program. The process for creating the AVD emulator is as follows:
(1) Click the Eclipse Toolbar tab. Displays the AVD Management Tool dialog box, as seen by1.33 .

Infigure 1.33 , click "New..." button, theCreate new Android virtualdevice (AVD)dialog box pops up. 1.34 , in the dialog box, first enter the name of the AVD you want to create. and select the AVD Simulator version number. Then set the memory size of the SD card and select the screen style.

A- z represents the a to the z26 letters, and there can be no spaces in the middle of two characters.
Click"OK" button to return to the "Android Virtual devicemanager" dialog box,1.35 see. You can see that an AVD simulator has been created and the simulator is selected. You can edit, delete, view,start, and so on by clicking Edit, Delete,Details , and startbutton on the right side.
