Tip: This android SDK requires android Developer Toolkit version 21.1.0 or above. Current version is 21.0.1.2012-12-6-2-58. Please update ADT to the latest version.
This prompt is due to the SDK version number and ADT version does not meet, will matinee AVD and so on cannot open
Scenario 1: Updating ADT
- Online updates (seemingly the most)
In the Help menu, select Software Update ..., choose the available software, click on the right of the add site ..., enter hhtps://dl-ssl.google.com/android/eclipse/
- Offline update (highly recommended)
Download ADT Http://developer.android.com/intl/zh-CN/sdk/installing/installing-adt.html#Download
Do not unzip after download (in fact, the official website has been explained)
Copy it directly to everyone.
- Start Eclipse, then select Help > Install New software.
- Click Add, in the Top-right corner.
- In the Add Repository dialog, click Archive.
- Select the downloaded adt-21.1.0.zip file and click OK.
- Enter "ADT Plugin" for the name and click OK.
- In the Available software dialog, select the checkbox next to Developer Tools and click Next.
- In the next window, you'll see a list of the tools to be downloaded. Click Next.
- Read and accept the license agreements, then click Finish.
If you get a security warning saying then the authenticity or validity of the software can ' t be established, click OK .
- When the installation completes, restart Eclipse.
Scenario 2: Lowering the SDK
Modify the 21.1.0 in the Plugin.prop file under the D:\android\IDE\sdk\tools\lib directory to change to 20.1.0
