Cause

Use Eclipse for Android development. When ADT (Android Deveopment Tooling) is installed) later (refer to the previous article "two solutions to failed installation of ADT [Android Development Tooling] in [Android] Eclipse"). Next we will encounter the problem that the Android SDK Manager cannot be updated normally, because of the GFW relationship, there is no direct access to the https://dl-ssl.google.com, which is a little more serious than updating the ADT. In the previous article, we set the proxy http: // 127.0.0.1: 8087 To Go To The GoAgent to update the ADT address. Here, we encountered a new problem, as GoAgent starts from version 3.1.x, the following error occurs during https: // or SSL access:

As a result, the Android SDK Manager cannot be updated normally.

 

In the past, it was possible to do this, that is, in the Android SDK Manager, select Options... from the menu Tools, and set as follows (see the single option of REDLINE ):

 

 

Http: // is mandatory instead of https: //. However, due to the new version of GoAgent (v3.2.3), this error is reported and cannot be updated.

 

Use VPN or other scientific Internet updates

Solve the GoAgent Problem

Since the GoAgent reported an error, we tried to solve the problem. It was not very easy to find. I didn't find it at first, but after reading the download speed above, I decided to solve it. The solution is as follows:

 

Android SDK 3.2 can be updated by adding the following configuration under [profile] In proxy. ini:
Dl-ssl.google.com = nocrlf, noforcehttps, nofakehttps

 

Note: There is a premise that you must ensure that the CA certificate of the GoAgent has been imported (after you have updated the GoAgent on the gae or the version of the local GoAgent, you may need to re-import the certificate). The specific cause of this error is unknown. From the literal meaning of the solution, nocrlf (no carriage return line break), noforcehttps (https is not mandatory ), nofakehttps (do not use/do not allow false https ). Now it is easy to implement, as shown below:

 

 

More than 500 KB/S is basically the limit speed of my bandwidth. It is not bad. Although GoAgent may slow down in some cases, the speed is still acceptable in most cases. It is free of charge, I am very satisfied.
