Android Studio 1.0 stable version released (including Download Links and tutorials), androidstudio
This article has been published to my blog: liyuyu.cn.
After two years of development, Google today released Android Studio 1.0, the first stable version of the integrated development environment (IDE) for Android Developers.
Android Studio has four different versions (you can change the version by setting updates on the page), including Canary, Dev, Beta, and Stable. Their details are as follows:
- Canary version: The update frequency of this version is about one week. When they are tested, they are still subject to bugs. Google wants developers to discover new bugs as soon as possible.
- Dev version: This version is carefully selected from the Canary version and has stood the test of time. The update frequency is one week or one month.
- Beta version: Although Android Studio has always been regarded as a quality preview, it has a few beta versions, from 0.8.14 to the latest version are candidates for Beta.
- Stable version: Version 1.0 released today and other Stable milestone versions.
