DESCRIPTION ):
Declare a logical group name for related permissions. The Independent permission must be added to the permission group through the permissionGroup attribute of the <permission> element. The members of the same group are displayed on the user interface.
Note that this element cannot declare permissions, but it is only a classification of related permissions. For more information about declaring permissions and permission groups, see <permission>.
ATTRIBUTES (ATTRIBUTES ):
Android: description
This attribute defines a user-readable descriptive text for the permission group. This text should be longer and more detailed than the label. This attribute must reference a string resource, which is different from the label attribute. It cannot use a native string.
Android: icon
This attribute defines an icon that represents permissions. This attribute must be defined by a resource that contains image definitions.
Android: label
This attribute defines a user-readable name for the permission group. For ease of development, you can directly set this attribute using native strings during development. However, when an application is officially released, you should use string resources to set it so that it can be localized just like other strings in the user interface.
Android: name
This attribute defines the name of the permission group, which is the name of the permissionGroup attribute that can be assigned to the <permission> element.
