In general, our common antenna tests in engineering practice are divided into the following types:

Near-Field Test

In the near-field antenna test, the distance from the test probe to the plane of the tested antenna port is about 3 λ 5 λ. In this case, the antenna test is near-field test.
The near-field antenna testing system consists of the following parts:
1. multi-axis scanning frame subsystem (including control drives and cable components ).
2. The antenna positioning subsystem under test usually consists of a single-axis or multi-axis turntable, control drive and cable assembly.
3. RF subsystem, including the launch source, receiver and RF Cable components.
4. The system's main controller and a system software responsible for sending positioning commands to the scanning frame and turntable subsystems, collecting test data, and calculating and analyzing test results in near-far-field transformation.

Far Field Test

The Far Field of the far-field antenna test is an antenna test that meets the r = 2d2/λ conditions. r is the distance between the receiving and receiving of the test field, and D is the largest diameter of the tested antenna, the wavelength of λ testing frequency.
The far-field antenna testing system consists of the following components;
1. Single-axis or multi-axis Turntable subsystem (including control driver and cable assembly) at the receiving end ).
2. The launch subsystem is usually composed of a single-axis turntable, a control drive and a cable assembly.
3. RF subsystem, including the launch source, receiver and RF Cable components.
4. The system master controller and a system software responsible for sending positioning commands to the turntable subsystem to collect test data and analyze test results.

Tightening Test

The tightening field in the tightening field antenna test refers to generating the plane wave required for the traditional far-field antenna test in a relatively small (tightening) space. equipment that produces such a plane wave with good consistency needs to add a hyperbolic reflector in a finite space to extend the radiation space.
The tightening field antenna testing system consists of the following components;
1. Single-axis or multi-axis Turntable subsystem (including control drives and cable components) of the tested antenna ).
2. The feed source subsystem is usually composed of a single-axis or multi-axis turntable, control drive and cable assembly.
3. the hyperbolic single-or hyperbolic dual-reflector is used to generate a plane wave meeting the far-field test conditions in a finite space.
4. RF subsystem, including the launch source, receiver and RF Cable components.
5. The system master controller and a system software responsible for sending positioning commands to the turntable subsystem to collect test data and analyze test results.

Antenna mask Test

1. Special multi-axis Turntable subsystem (including control drives and cable components ).
2. The scanning frame sub-system of the zero finder is usually a small multi-axis scanning frame consisting of control drives and cable components.
3. RF subsystem, including the launch source, receiver and RF Cable components.
4. The system master controller and a system software responsible for sending positioning commands to the turntable subsystem to collect test data and analyze test results.
