App Power consumption test tool--powertutor

The Powertutor is a gadget used to test the power consumption of a mobile phone, and it can just show the main components of the phone system and the power consumption data generated by various user apps. It can count the app's screen power consumption (LCD), CPU power consumption, and WiFi and 3G network power consumption, and we can use this tool to monitor the battery usage of any app.

1. Powertutor's first page is very simple, only Start Profiler, application Viewer, System Viewer, help four menu items. When using, click Start Profiler First, then the middle of the two items will become usable state.

2. Click on the system Viewer to open the power consumption chart of the main components, showing the change of power consumption of LCD, CPU, 3G, WiFi. Chart view, Pie view, Stat View are three different representations of the same data.

3. Click Application Viewer to open the app's power consumption data. The top of the LCD, CPU, WiFi, 3G is the power of each app four indicators, can be selected according to the need, gray font means not selected, white font indicates selected, when the data corresponding data will be added up, generally no special circumstances are all selected bar. It is also possible to monitor an indicator individually, such as the power consumption generated by an app on the CPU.

4. You can also select an app for monitoring, just click on the app you want to monitor to open four indicators of power graph (similar to System Viewer).
