Apt-Get "segmentation faultsts... X % ": Error in Upgrade ubuntu9.04 to 10.04

Source: Internet

Stable version of ubuntu 10.04 has finally been released, but it is only recently time to try the new version of ubuntu.

Run the automatic upgrade command: sudo apt-Get dist-upgrade. After reading the data packet, the following error occurs: "segmentation faultsts... x %". The upgrade cannot continue. This may be a bug in Ubuntu, but the solution is very simple. Delete two files under the/var/Cache/apt directory *. bind the file and run sudo apt-Get update again to run sudo apt-Get dist-upgrade.
